
Mentorship Program
The purpose of the Mentorship Program is to help individuals implement a cultural awareness and diversity focus in their vocational and avocational pursuits. The CHEC Center wants to foster the cultural leaders of today and tomorrow in reaching their goals and building more inclusive and connected communities, both personally and professionally.

Program Outline
6-month or one year term
Mentorship program begins in May with Evolve, a six week goal setting program (2 hours/week)
Following the goal setting program, one hour 1:1 goal coaching/counseling with Jennifer Bowes, weekly or every other week, depending on mentee’s needs
1-hour bi-weekly online CHEC meeting with the team

Application Requirements
Have participated in at least one CHEC workshop
Commit to full Mentorship term (6-month or 12-month terms available)
Attend at least one CHEC meeting a month with the team
Able to dedicate 2 to 5 hours a week toward development and pursuit of your goal – time includes goal setting program and 1:1 with Jennifer Bowes & CHEC meetings
Applications due by March 31st with interviews in April
We accept 2-4 Mentees a year
